Starting from May 2012 the useDesign Lab will move to the facilities of MaGe in Sesto San Giovanni, near Milan.
During the month of May we’ll set our new space to be productive again from June.
The decision to move to Milan has been given by the amount of work in the last months given us by this city and especially by the MaGe project: the creation of a unique creative space, where ideas and innovation are the order of the day.

March 27th to 31st, 2012: one week to discover new trends, figure out what to wear in the coming seasons, inspire and take inspiration from the local designers, the stylists, and boutiques that choose, select and pursue the emerging brands and the funny objects from the today fashion system.
Cesena will host some fashion bloggers, a key part of the today fashion industry.
Journalists and editors will be present at the fashion shows and at the presentations all around the city, along with photographers who will take pictures of every moment and situation, from street outfits, to the extravagance at the catwalks, but also visitors and collections.
Some stores will present their stylistic choices organizing aperitifs, fashion shows in their boutiques, as in the days of Haute Couture. A lot of emerging designers will show their collections together with those who already practice for some years. A fun, beautiful and pleasant to watch fashion. Many artists will interpret the new season with humor and creativity in a real show led by themes and inspirations.

Luca Scarpellini will be present with a selection of some useDesign products at the Atelier DanielaCorrente, just in front of the entrance of the famous Bonci Theatre, in a prestigious and historic place.

CONVIVIUM: APRIL 16th-23rd 2012

useDesign will exhibit, in Design Discount during the next Milan Design Week, the last year childhood collection and the new one: the u.fo collection that will be presented right there.

Convivium Design is in the heart of Milan but “out” from the usual Milan design week, both physically and conceptually.
Convivium Design is a new path in Via Dante 14, that combines young creatives, brands of excellence and great chefs through the sharing of values. The haute cuisine follows from years the philosophy of zero distance, the use of seasonal products, the quality of raw materials, as well as handcraft and design are increasingly focused on the recovery of discarded materials, the “know how”, on finding new business and design models. CONVIVIUM Design combines these talents into a think tank that wants to be an exchange and an enrichment in the search for the essence of the design, craft and human culture.
Convivium Design is a project of the ENCASO agency in collaboration with OTTO, Rodex, Chic.

DESIGN DISCOUNT

Unique pieces, limited series, installations by emerging designers are on display in a friendly atmosphere, punctuated by meetings, tastings, dinners and appetizers. Hence the Angelo Po cuisine animated by the starred chefs Stefano Masanti, Sergio Vineis, Flavio Baldassarre with Nicola Cavallaro protagonists on behalf of Chic – Charming italian chef.
